Delete your FamBrief data

How to request deletion

1. Open FamBrief.
2. Open Settings.
3. Find your Privacy ID.
4. Email support@fambrief.app and include your Privacy ID.
5. Tell us that you want the FamBrief server records associated with that Privacy ID deleted.

If you use Contact support in FamBrief Settings, the app can start an email that already includes your Privacy ID.

We aim to respond to privacy requests within 30 days.

What we delete

When we process a deletion request, we delete the records FamBrief’s server holds for that installation, including:

• the installation record and Privacy ID;
• subscription status stored by FamBrief;
• AI import usage records associated with the installation;
• FamBrief usage statistics associated with the installation;
• other FamBrief server records associated with that installation.

We also request deletion of the corresponding installation record from RevenueCat.

Data stored on your phone

Your family plans and other app data are stored locally on your device. FamBrief cannot remotely access or delete that local data.

To delete the data stored by FamBrief on your phone, uninstall the FamBrief app.

Subscriptions and purchase records

Deleting FamBrief server records does not cancel a FamBrief Pro subscription.

Manage or cancel your subscription through Apple or Google before requesting deletion if needed.

Apple and Google may retain purchase records under their own terms.

Retention after deletion

Deleted FamBrief database records may remain in database backups until those backups expire, normally within 7 days.

If you continue using FamBrief after deletion, the app will create new server records for that installation.

If you have already deleted FamBrief and no longer have your Privacy ID, the remaining FamBrief server records for that installation are automatically deleted 13 months after the app last contacted FamBrief’s server.
